Did you recently get a new camera? Do you have a camera sitting on a shelf because you haven’t figured out how to use it? Maybe you've got a camera but you want to get more use out of it? If you’d like to learn more about your camera and how to best utilize it to get great photographs, the Doña Ana Photography Club's “Photography Bootcamp Workshop” is for you!
This 4-part series is aimed at anyone new to photography, anyone wanting to learn how to better use his or her camera, or anyone with questions about photography and how to take better photographs. The Boot Camp will start with “Learning About Your Camera” and include courses covering taking better photographs, getting your camera off automatic mode, and basic editing.
Topics and techniques covered during the DAPC Photography Bootcamp can be applied to users of any and all cameras including phone cameras, mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, point-and-shoot cameras, and even film cameras.
All classes are held at St. Andrew’s Church, Alameda Blvd., Las Cruces from 9:00 am until Noon. Classes are $5.00 each (payable at the class).
